Using our cold feed extrusion technology and autoclave systems, Ormiston Rubber Co. is able to supply your rubber extrusion needs.
Our processes mean that:
- We can develop customized profiles for your specific application.
- Provide relatively short lead times from design to production.
- Design and supply wire cut dies which are relatively inexpensive and are capable of producing intricate designs and give a high quality finish.
Sponge and Solid Rubber Extrusions
Ormiston Rubber Co. carries an extensive range of solid and sponge rubber cross-sections. More importantly, the company will manufacture to your precise individual requirements.
Standard Extrusion Product Range
For over 70 years Ormiston Rubber Co. have developed over 300 standard extrusion profiles in solid and sponge EPDM. These are usually ex stock or with very short lead times.
Some products include:
- EPDM (sponge or solid) – Glazing seals & sections, ‘U’ channel, docking rubbers, draft strips, sealing rubbers etc.
- Natural rubber - 'gum' cord, gas & surgical tubing.
- 'White' rubber profiles - docking rubbers, 'U' channel.
Specialty extrusion processes
Ormiston Rubber Co. supply extrusions incorporating specialty processes:
- Flocked or 'PU' coated (ie to EPDM slider seals)
- Pinchweld and other dual hardness products
- Adhesive backed product
- Cut to size, punched and joined (vulcanised).
