Ormiston Rubber Co. Pty Ltd was established in 1937 to manufacture rubber tennis & squash balls and other consumer goods. Household names followed in the famous PC49 glue and Ormiston Erasers.

Our origins can be traced back to 1876 when Barnet Glass migrated from Manchester, England and established Barnet Glass Rubber in Carlton, Melbourne. Now, five generations later, we are still in the business of manufacturing and supplying an extensive range specialty moulded and extruded rubber products.

In 2001, after 64 years at our landmark factory in Moonee Ponds, as part of our commitment to the future, we moved to a new purpose built warehouse and factory in Broadmeadows, Victoria, Australia. Broadmeadows is close to the airport and other major infrastructure facilities. At the same time, we took the opportunity to invest in new state of the art extruding and moulding technology to further enhance our production capabilities.
